Show Notes

Thanks for all the support as we reach our 100th episode!  A running joke we've been doing over the last several months is saying we are going to do Toy Story for the next week's episode with no intensions of actually doing it.  Well, you're in luck, because we are doing it for EPISODE 1-0-0!!!!!

Toy Story" is a groundbreaking animated film that introduces audiences to a world where toys come to life when humans aren't around. The story centers around Woody, a cowboy doll who has always been the favorite toy of his owner, Andy. However, Woody's world is turned upside down when Andy receives a new space ranger action figure, Buzz Lightyear, as a birthday gift.

Buzz quickly becomes the new favorite, leading to a rivalry between Woody and Buzz for Andy's affection. In a twist of fate, both toys find themselves outside of the comfort of Andy's room and must navigate the challenges of the real world together. As they encounter perils like sadistic neighbor Sid and the mysterious claw-wielding aliens in a pizza parlor, Woody and Buzz discover the true meaning of friendship and loyalty.

"Toy Story" is not just a tale of animated adventure; it's a heartwarming exploration of the bonds between toys and their owners, emphasizing themes of acceptance, belonging, and the passage of time. With its innovative use of computer animation, endearing characters, and a witty script, "Toy Story" became a landmark film in animation history, setting the stage for Pixar's future success and earning a special place in the hearts of audiences worldwide.
