When people think of underdog stories, none spring to mind faster than the 1976 film Rocky. Written and starring Sylvester Stallone, this tale takes a 'down on his luck' journeyman southpaw fighter who gets a once in a lifetime shot at World Heavyweight Championship. Also starring Carl Weathers as Apollo Creed, he plays a good counterpart as the charismatic and cocky World's Champion. With his trainer Micky (Burgess Meredith) and his love Adrian (Talia Shire) Rocky tries to do the unthinkable! Oh and Paulie is there too....but he's a piece of shit.....
